I guess I should bust everyones bubble on the real definition of a goon/goonette 1.) A profoundly unattractive female member of fictional aboriginal people… So I dnt knw about that so in that case I can’t call myself a “goonette” but I can call myself a very strong female that grew up without either parents at the age of 5 & in& out of strangers house bein seperated from my only sister havin to refine & define myself &defend my self cuz I didn’t knw where I belonged,havn adults lie on u be littling u when there supposed to be teachn u, bein mistreated by blood when I was helpless bein homeless but I’ve allways been told there is always someone who has it worst than u im blessed im in college im makin in I can’t complain I’ve been through it all felt pain delt wit the games lied to by lames…but I look bak and laugh I couldn’t have made it without the man above.but again my not a goonette but wat&who ur descrbin im pretty sure no scratch that im quite positive I can handle all the qualifications…im STRONG.INTELLEGENT.POISE.RADIANT&damn sure a HARD WORKER…no need to feel pity cus when make it I want people to knw I never gave up! I agree with Calibound a little bit because I’ve been through the same thing so don’t judge a book by it’s cover… even though I’ve been through the struggle…. I’ve still managed to graduate from highschool and college and I am a dancer but I choose to be( not cause I have to be)…. I can talk to a real man on any level- the streets,business,and books… that’s what makes me a goonette. A job is temporary ,your kids are priority ,and every real woman (goonette) is suppose to have a real man by her side or preparing herself for one…. it takes two have a child so what makes you think you can raise one on your own. It’s time to be real ladies….. why are black women still the only dumb asses still hollering INDEPENDENT after the recession????? God is trying to tell us something….. the white women and latinas been peeped game even with our black successful men -look at Kobe and O.J. for example. Those are our mansions that these black men are moving in…. I refuse to be deceived… I am a Queen and I will reign with my King and never independent and alone again. Wake up ladies -don’t let someone sleep with you that can’t provide for you. In the meantime depend on God and he will supply all your needs and in your season he send the man you need and want in your life as well as your children (don’t be selfish) these kids need a male role model…. I love you Plies but the prisons are too crowded and the church is filled with women and not enough men and I hope you stay humble and don’t sell us out too.

I believe i’m a goonette cuz i’m a survivor… i’m a cancer survivor and i’m only 20 i was diagnosed at 18 while i was a senior in high school. But now i’m sooo much better and cancer free!!!

My name is Kimberly but i perfer Kim. I’m a single mother of one (its a boy). What I do I do for my son. I am a true surviver. I survived cancer, I was diagnosed with it at age 17 and I’m now 26 years old. The doctors told me that i would’t have children, they also told me that I might not make it through cancer because I was in the last stage of it. I survived a fake man in a relationship. I took a case for him never snitched on him or anyone even though it would clear my name. God was the only way out of anything that I have been through. I still manage to graduate while battling cancer. Last but not least many many jobs would turn me down for employment because of my background.i was about to loose my home in this situation. But i didn’t let it stop me and I never gave up. Its not an option for me to give up no matter how hard something get for me. And that is something i teach my son now as he is growing up. Now I’m back in school and holding it down for mines because I’m a young go getta.

Well, everyone has there stories about surviving cancer, havin kids at a young age, and dealing with hardships in there life. As far as i’m concerned, all that is a blessing. If it wasn’t for that, where would u be today? You need not to be positive just for yourself, but set a good example and be a good role model for others around u. Everyone goes through difficulties in there lives, it’s the ones that do something to relinquish those bad times and make smart decisions, they will prosper. I may not be a “goonette” to some people’s standards, but to my own, i am a very self motivated person and a hard worker. I live everyday to the fullest, like it was my last. Don’t take life for granted, just take all that it has to offer.
